Post Type A of the Dakreling® system is designed for temporary fall protection on flat roofs with a maximum slope of 10°. Its modular design, fold-up and fold-down capability, and aluminium construction offer both flexibility and durability, making it ideal for a wide range of construction projects.
The system complies with EN 13374, Class A, and withstands wind forces up to 5 Beaufort (29-38 km/h), which is essential for safe workplaces in regions with variable weather conditions.
The Dakreling® system can be set up in various configurations:
- Straight line configurations: For local work carried out close to the roof edge, where the location can be safely accessed and only a small section needs to be secured.
- Corner configurations: For situations where protection is required at corners. The corner configurations can be adjusted to any angle as desired.
- U-configurations: For work areas that require additional protection along multiple sides of the roof.
The addition of ballast blocks ensures sufficient stability without damaging the roofing, making Type A a versatile solution for building regulations and safety requirements across various European countries. The optional toe board holder makes this type particularly suitable for roofs without an upstanding edge, while the aluminium construction contributes to a lightweight, easy-to-install system.
