Post Type-D

Post Type D provides reliable fall protection for work on flat roofs. The system complies with EN 13374 (Class A) and has been developed with local building regulations and weather conditions in mind. The 250 mm hook extension prevents unwanted movement caused by external forces.

Post Type D from the Dakreling® system is designed for temporary edge protection on flat roofs with a maximum pitch of 10°. Its modular design, foldable construction and aluminium framework provide both flexibility and durability, making it ideal for a wide range of construction projects.

The system complies with EN 13374, Class A, and is designed to withstand wind speeds of up to Force 5 on the Beaufort scale (29–38 km/h), ensuring safe working conditions in regions with varying weather conditions.

This model features an additional hook mounted on a 250 mm extension, allowing the post to hook behind the roof edge and remain securely in place, even when subjected to unwanted external movement. Longer rails and double ballast blocks ensure maximum stability.

The Dakreling® system can be installed in various configurations:

• Straight-line configurations: For localised work close to the roof edge where the work area can be accessed safely and only a limited section requires protection.
• Corner configurations: For situations where protection around corners is required. Corner configurations can be adjusted to suit any angle.
• U-shaped configurations: For work areas that require protection along multiple sides of the roof.

The addition of ballast blocks provides sufficient stability without damaging the roof covering, making Post Type D a versatile solution that meets building regulations and safety requirements across Europe. To ensure maximum stability, Post Type D is supplied with double ballast blocks as standard. This enables the system to withstand unexpected forces during maintenance and renovation work. The optional toeboard holder makes this type particularly suitable for roofs without a parapet, while the aluminium construction ensures a lightweight system that is quick and easy to install.
